Evaluation EU Governance policy

The global thematic evaluation of the Commission's support to good governance in third countries has been recently completed. The evaluation is based on case studies concerning Angola, Burkina Faso, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Jordan, Indonesia and Ukraine.

Evaluation team leader, Mr Jean Bossuyt of ECDPM will present the main findings and conclusions on September 18th in Brussels.

At the seminar, organised by the European Commission's Evaluation Unit, the findings and conclusions of the evaluation will be thouroughly discussed. Different actors and stakeholders on their approach to governance will be illustrating their point of view. The seminar should stimulate debate around key policy issues and perspectives concerning this wide, evolving and crucial theme.The presentation will be followed by a debate. The seminar addresses to a large audience including Member States, other donors, international organisations, foundations and representatives of civil society.
